ink i believe this could be your problem, some people have fast metabolisms and they don’t have to watch what they eat cause it would just burn away quickly. However as people start to age their metabolism start slowing down more and more each day, therefore not exercising or eating right will catch on later and you will gain pounds

The age comment was pretty ignorant. Look at Silvester Stallone, hes 65 right? And look at that body.

It sounds like you need to lose a bit of fat and gain some muscle instead. Because muscle is heavier then fat, you will be heavier, look stronger, lose fat, and not be that scrawny kid you always were. Try some abdominal exercises. You should start w/ 100 sit ups in the morning and 100 in the night. This may seem like a lot but just wake up 10 minutes earlier. At the rate of 1 sit up every 4 seconds (which is slow), you can do 100 in under 7 minutes.

Keep a motivation and work hard. Good Luck.

I am 5 foot 10 inches tall (male) and only weigh 150 pounds. I am starting to get a belly….I guess it’s about time seeing that I am 54 years old. My problem is….if I go on a diet which I could easily do…..yes, I would lose the belly but wouldn’t I then look like a skelleton because my weight is so low to begin with? I don’t know anything about exercise and fitness as most of my life I have been “rail thin”….this belly has just started…..anyone have any suggestions
