What exercise is the most effective to lose belly fat?

I have lost a lot of weight, but still have a small pot belly, I am still slowly losing more weight, but would really like to be able to tighten up or lose this gut. I am not interested in some medical plan, just a exercise that you have done on a daily basis that really tones the stomach area. One that will really work over time.

Well done on losing the weight, I really think the best way forward for you now is good old sit ups, You can build them up slowly until you feel comfortable and they do really work.
