I have always had a big belly, but now that I have been doing ab exercises for the last 2.5 months, it seems the fat around my belly jiggles more. Any reason why and what does it mean?

Its bec ause muscles are elastic and when tension, stress is put on them they tend to bounce, maybe the fat is bouncig because of the muscle in addition to normal fat jiggle

Not sure but how’s this sound?

The fat on your belly is actually held in place by a network of tissue that the fat can accumulate on. I forget what it is called. Now that you are working on the abs they are getting stronger and doing a better job of holding your guts in place. This may be reducing the pressure on the inside of the fat and allowing it to jiggle more.

Makes sense to me, what do you think?

fat sits on top of the muscle. if you are doing ab workouts all your doing is working your muscles, you are not doing much about the fat. what you need to do is cardio workouts, anything that makes you sweat alot is good for you and your belly.
