What types of exercises can be done with hand weights or a mat and an ab roller or the “ball” used for abs?

i joined a small gym yesterday which is basically a “learn for yourself” place. It has good equipment and is a very small place however I dont know anything about hand weights or the ab exercises. There are no trainers there. I did see mats, hand weights (all sizes), one ab roller thingy, and the “round balls” used for abdomens but i’m not sure how to use them in the proper way or what exercises can be done using those things. Can somebody help and tell me how to start up a good average workout routine?

get the power 90 workout program…..it can be done entirely with handweights and is in my opinion an excellent workout.
