I only feel ab exercises in my upper abs?

Im a teen and when in doing different ab exercises i only feel it in my upper abs? I don’t know if its just because I’m not doing the right form or because my abs are so weak they are developing the upper first than the lower. Any reasons?

Yes. The lower stomach is a very challenging stop to work out and get toned.
You need to lose the fat for your abs to show.
do pilates for awhile. youll see results! good luck!

If you’re lying with your “heels pressing up against the ceiling”
as the saying goes, the resistance is focused more on the
upper section, as you’ve noticed.
After you’ve done how ever many you want that way, try this:
View your legs as hands on a clock. When your heels press
the ceiling, they’re 12 noon. Lower them a notch and they’re
1 o’clock, another notch, and they’re 2 o’clock.
Each notch will incur a separate set of ab and other muscles
which get resistance so you’ll feel the difference in an immediate
and most effective way.
Remember also to stretch a little before and after you do ab work,
including down to your hipflexors, for optimum results.
Happy fitness!
